🌿 About Me

Hey there! I’m Avery — a broke witch, a mom, a spiritual mess-in-progress, and someone who truly believes you can be magical without breaking the bank.

This blog is for anyone who’s too tired, too broke, or too overwhelmed to be aesthetic — but still wants to connect, ground, and grow. I write about everyday witchcraft, mental health, rituals using what you already have, and finding magic in the mess.

You don’t need crystals or candle collections to cast a spell. You just need intention, kindness, and a cup of dirt.

A few chaotic facts about me:

  • Gemini ☀ | Tiger’s Eye is my favorite stone (both my grandmothers gave me jewelry with it)

  • I live with my family, including but not limited to: a toddler, a black cat, more books than shelves (is there such a thing as too many?), and a passionate love for tomatoes.

  • I tested Ravenclaw at 11, but I’ve grown into a full Hufflepuff

  • Star Trek > Star Wars, but I’ll still take a green lightsaber if you’re offering

  • I’d 100% go through the Stargate without asking questions

  • Favorite creatures? Dragons, octopuses, and turtles (in that order)

  • I believe dandelions are wishes, hiking is sacred, seashells are spells, and the night sky is a map of magic

  • I truly believe we’re all cryptids wearing meat suits, just visiting Earth for a bit

  • And I think we should give kindness and everything we’ve got in this life —  just in case

Zephyra!

🖤 Hey Witches,

I wanted to introduce you to my business partner—Zephyra!

She’s the magical black cat I rescued years ago. The vet thinks she was maybe three weeks old when I found her, so I bottle-fed her for about a week. After that, she took to dry food like a champ. You’ll probably hear me refer to our precious princess by various names: Z, Zephie, Fuzz Ball, The Fuzz, and occasionally, Not On the Bed.

A few fun facts about Zephie:

  • She was found in the South, so we imagine her with a Dolly Parton accent.

  • She’s 10 years old and fully leans into her sassy little old lady energy.

  • She has more patience than most humans. A five-year-old once found her and literally dragged her to a family party. Did she scratch? Nope. Bite? Never. She just looked at me with eyes that said, "Get me out of here."

  • As of this writing, I have a toddler. And Zephyra? She just sits there like a stoic queen while that child pats her over and over.

Stories and photos of Zephyra will be popping up on this blog, so I thought I should give y’all some context. 🐾✨
